Do we really need to cry, stamp, and cajole, to get God to notice us? He already told us He is the One who:
- rides across the heavens in His majesty, on the clouds to our help
- sent the Holy Spirit to abide in us, to be our Counselor
- rejoices over us with shouts of joy
- delivered us from the domain of darkness and
- translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love
- never slumbers nor sleeps in keeping watch over us
- roams with His eyes throughout the earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those who are loyal to Him
- gives us every spiritual gift for life and godliness
- works inside us to will and to do the things that please Him
- transforms us from glory to glory

God is for us. For you and for me. He that spared not His only Son but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him (Christ) freely give us all things?

A root set in the finest soil in the best climate is not in so sure a way of its growth to perfection as every man may be whose spirit aspires after all that which God is ready and infinitely desirous to give him.
