Shout for Joy oh daughters of Zion! Shout in triumph, O Israel
Rejoice and exalt with all your heart.
The Lord has taken away His judgments against you,
He has cleared away your enemies.
The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst.
You will fear disaster no more.
The Lord my God is in the middle of me
He is ever exalting and delighting over me.
He rests in His love and quietly renews me in the same
He rejoices in me with singing and shouts of joy.
I am strong in the Lord; in His mighty strength.
I draw joyously from the wellspring of salvation (Isa. 12:3)
And this day I say, ‘Praise the Lord’.
I eat my fill from the abundance of your household.
I drink from the river of Your delights.
For with You is the fountain of life,
In Your light I see light. (Ps. 36:8)
All my springs of joy are in You. (Ps. 87:7)
O Father, you give me the Holy Spirit,
who strengthens my inner man with power,
and sinks the roots of Jesus’ inexhaustible love
ever deeper into my heart, my soul, my body –
abiding presently, perfectly;
such love can no instrument measure,
nor man’s mind contain –
forever high, forever deep, forever far, forever wide,
filling me with all the fullness of God.
More still, O God and Father,
You unleashed in me the Almighty Spirit of Life;
doing exceedingly, abundantly beyond all that I might ask or imagine –
taking my prayers (the seeds You planted)
and filling them out,
magnifying their hidden essence,
calling forth the life of them,
framing their meaning and purpose
to Your highest ideas of my destiny.
The Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus is the law,
the very force, and course of my life.
I am this new unfolding creature;
created, nourished, sustained,
animated, directed, inspired,
energized by Your very person
and the power that raised Christ from the dead;
to do Your works –
to proclaim your excellencies
You who called me out of darkness into Your marvelous light.
Having said to me, ‘I am in the Spirit I have given to you.’
Your present, immediate, all encompassing, unconquerable love
is my constant portion;
ever willing and doing in me
the deeds You desire and intend.
Your love, O God, is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit
whom You have given into me.
This love, united with my spirit, soul and body, obliterates all fear.
I heartily welcome the myriad disclosures,
impartations, mysteries and wonders from Your heart and mind,
which You promised and delight to give.
You Lord, have sworn with Your mouth,
“I will never stop doing you good.”
I abide in You, Lord Jesus, my Vine.
You abide in me, every moment, in every way;
releasing to and through me all that You are –
and nothing You are not.
Jesus, you offered to show me the sky-full of Your love.
Not as I would imagine it,
but as you want me to see, feel and experience it.
The way it really is.
I am so ready to receive all that You reveal
of Your mind and heart and love.
I dismiss whatever opposes You
and disdain all that contradicts You,
and Your activity within me.
I thank You with sincere, humble and grateful praise.
I’m so glad I am hidden with You in God, our Father.
I give place to Your working and Your way in me.
I take courage in Your presence and in Your truth.
You have magnified Your word together with Your name,
And You have made me bold with strength in my soul.
That You want to dine with me
as much as wanting me to dine with You, so heartens me.
Thank You that we, together, walk out this life.
Thank You that in You I am truly home.
Thank You for teaching and instructing me in the way I should go,
for counseling and watching over me.
