Does the world appear hopeless and desperate? Do God’s promises for remedy seem ridiculous?

The world is hopeless and desperate because it is ruled by demonic powers. But that is not the whole picture. If God’s word seems ridiculous to you it is because your perception has been shaped by the current world’s point of view. The current world rulers are spirits, and not seen by mere men. They control by delusion and intend that you assess reality by what you see.

The whole picture is not seen by natural eyes, nor rightly appraised by man’s reason. In the unseen, eternal world, things are absolutely clear to all. The Creator sits at the right hand of God, above all rulers, authorities, dominion and powers. His name is Jesus Christ.

You’ll recall from biblical accounts that every instance of Jesus confronting satanic powers, the dark spirits fled at Jesus’ command. The invisible earthly powers recognized His Lordship - and trembled. Men's dullness to spirit realities is evidence of his delusion.

Jesus perpetrated a violent intervention in the earth. At every turn He destroyed the works of the devil. With a touch or a word Jesus broke torment and bondage, made people free from their prisons, and healed their diseases. This He did in every person who appealed to Him - without exception.

Jesus is God’s promise to the world. Jesus is God’s Word. Now, it’s the world that seems ridiculous. The world’s system is still hopeless and desperate - and it is passing away.

However, now a man or woman may enter and experience life in a superior kingdom while still walking on the earth. Believing the Word of God opens anyone from defeat and despair into the Light of Life. So, greater is Jesus Christ in you than every demonic delusion of this world. Though the world continues producing its troubles, trials and tribulations, you will abide in the only One that has overcome the world.
